How can I update this tablet?
To update the tablet, you must connect the tablet to WiFi first. You can do this by going into your Tablet settings at the top left. Once you are connected to WiFi, scroll to the bottom of the Tablet settings screen until you get to "Check for Updates." Make the selection, and the tablet will notify you whether there is or is not an update available.

Do you charge for updates?
Updates are free. And there are no mandatory subscriptions (except for AutoAuth if you want to use it, which is out of our control).

Does it work outside of the USA?
Although our device/app works on most domestic, foreign, and Asian vehicles, it will NOT work outside of the United States and Canada. For Mexican residents, it’ll only work if you have a US-imported vehicle.

Our products are region-restricted as we follow North American OBD protocols.

Will it work on my vehicle?
The product will work on most OBD2-compliant vehicles. However, features may vary depending on your specific year, make, and model.

Do you support FCA vehicles?
Yes, this product supports FCA vehicles as it has the option to connect to your AutoAuth account.

Can this reprogram vehicle computers?
No. It also does not support key fob programming.

Will this work on vehicles that cannot start or crank?
No, OBD2 scanners require the vehicle to be able to start or at least crank. These devices communicate with the vehicle's Electronic Control Units (ECUs), and if the vehicle cannot start, the scanner won't be able to establish a connection with the ECU. To use any OBD2 scanner, the vehicle must be in a condition where it can start or crank.

I can't scan anything. All the options are greyed out on my tablet.
Please turn the tablet off and disconnect the VCI cable in the back of the tablet by sliding it upward by the two spaces created on the side of the VCI cable. Once removed, clean the four connections at the bottom to remove any grease, dust, or dirt that may have accumulated in that area. Re-insert the VCI cable by sliding it in from the top, and then power it back on. This should help.

Does this tablet need to be charged to use it?
Yes, the tablet does need to have a charge to be used. It comes with a charger included.

Does the tablet also work on OBD1 (1995 and older) vehicles?
No, unfortunately, the tablet is compatible with OBD2 (1996-present) vehicles only.
