Occasionally, your mechanic may not reset the maintenance light on your Volkswagen Jetta after an oil change or regular service. If you've performed the oil change yourself, don't worry! It's simple to reset the maintenance light on your dashboard.
Here’s a clear guide on how to turn off the maintenance light on your 2020 Volkswagen Jetta. We offer two methods:
Method 1
Plug-in your key but do NOT start the ignition yet.
Press the button in the center of your dashboard (highlighted in a red circle below).
Press the middle button first and hold it down. Simultaneously, turn your ignition on while holding down the button. You should see the screen change to “Reset oil change service.”
Let go of the button.
Quickly press and hold the button again until you see that the service interval was reset successfully.
And that’s it! You’ve successfully reset your oil maintenance light.
